What is it about climate change that makes it a political hot potato? The Climate change – creating critical thinkers … not sceptics! unit is an ideal way to investigate the science of climate change and improve the scientific literacy of students in the classroom. It provides opportunities for students to investigate their misconception of climate change as both a scientific concept and a political issue, and, through discussion and debate, arrive at their own considered opinion about where they stand on this millennium’s most contentious and pressing issue.
